Mr DF, of Hollingworth wrote about the time I restored and installed an antique front door. "When I bought a Victorian pitch pine door for my period house, I had thought that inevitably the old scuffs and marks that a century-old door had suffered were there to stay. But Len Shaw showed his versatility by not only installing the door in a very workmanlike way but then working carefully to ensure that the door now looks better than new! The wood gleams in a very warm way and it is a pleasure to look at it. As well as this, Mr Shaw left my house just as clean as he found it - it was as if he had never been there!"
